BEDEUTUNG

A fault shutdown can be triggered by aged or low-capacity motor capacitors (especially plastic versions). To prevent this, a plastic capacitor should be replaced by an aluminum capacitor; for aluminum capacitors, the capacity must be checked.

HÄUFIGE URSACHEN

• Plastic capacitor in the oil pump motor with decreasing capacity due to aging
• Aluminum capacitor with capacity drop below the limit value
• Insufficient motor start of the oil pump due to capacitor damage

ERSTE PRÜFSCHRITTE

1. 1.De-energize the system and check for absence of voltage; secure against re-energization.
2. 2.Pull the burner plug from the central connector.
3. 3.Remove the protective cap on the capacitor.
